Event Grant Application

About the grant

Bitcoin thrives on collaboration. Btrust offers event and conference grants to support Bitcoin-only events designed to act as a wide net to find and direct those interested in commencing their Bitcoin open-source journey.

Requirements

• The event must focus on open-source software, Bitcoin development, or developer education.

• The event must take place in Africa or the Global South.

• The event must be primarily targeted at software developers in Africa or the Global South.

• The event must be at least 12 weeks away from the application date to allow for proper review, feedback, and potential support.

• Applicants must demonstrate Proof Of Work, i.e., they must have organized or contributed to a similar event in the past.

• We are currently not accepting applications for first-time events with no track record.
