About you

The ideal applicant should have managed to establish themselves as a valuable contributor in their project of choice. Beyond meeting our starter grant application criteria, BOSC Grant applicants are required to also meet the criteria below:

  1. Have built a non-trivial portfolio of work in a Bitcoin open source project.

  2. Have at least 6 months worth of proof of work.

  3. Have a clear vision of what you’ll work on going forward.

  4. Have a mentor/contributor that is willing to support you with your work.

  5. Have a proven history of delivering impactful, high-quality open-source contributions to Bitcoin-related projects.

  6. Have a track record of collaborating effectively with other open-source contributors in a constructive and cooperative manner.

  7. Be self-motivated, self-driven, and capable of working independently.

  8. Be ready and willing to support a mentee from the starter grantees.

  9. Positive feedback from project contributors that you collaborate with.
